Devin Lemar Selder was born on May 1, 2007 in Hammond Louisiana, to Sonja Selders and David Glen Selders at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond La. Devin was a loving, caring and respectful young man. He accepted Christ at a very young age, he attended Big Zion A. M. E Church in Roseland, LA. Devin was a member of the youth choir, Jr. Usher, Buds of Promise, and Mize Team.

Devin was a very athletic young man. He Attended West Side Middle School, he excelled in Football, basketball, Track and baseball. Sports was not the only passion Devin had he also excelled in Academics as well. He was a Honor Student and received multiple awards. He was in Beta Club. Outside of sports and classroom his other passion included but not limited to riding dirt bike, and four wheeling. He often expressed his love for his favorite college basketball team LSU and one day play NBA for the Lakers.

He was loved by many and will truly be missed!

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Irving, and Alton Selders, grandmother Mary Ann Selders, Uncle Bruce Selders, Best Friend Justin Patrick.
