Ms. Debra Ann Causey Dixon was born March 21, 1963 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ado (Alberta) Causey Sr. in Bogalusa, LA. She was the youngest of ten children, Debra departed this life on February 7, 2025. She was known for her charismatic spirit and her dedication to caring for others, especially her children and grandchildren. Her love and hard work will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
In early childhood, she was baptized at St. John Temple Church of God and Christ. She was a 1982 graduate of Bogalusa High School. She was employed by MetroOne at International Paper Mill in Bogalusa for over 16 years. She had a love for shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her former husband Darrin Dixon of Bogalusa, LA, Four Children: Tiffany Gholar of Covingtonf, LA, Tremayne Gholar Sr. of Angie, LA, Britney McCray of Madisonville, LA and Whitney (Eugene) Bell of Pikeville, NC.,Two stepsons, Darryl Fland of Las Vegas, NV and Breandus (Kellie) Sheridan of Fort Pierce, FL and a bonus son Trey Smith of Bogalusa, LA. Ten grandchildren; Mariah Williams of Lafayette, La, Macayla and Makenzie Williams of Covington La, Tremayne Gholar Jr. of Covington, LA, Brielle,Smith, Baylor Smith, Brandon Smith II and Brynlei Smith of Madisonville, La, Noah Bell and Isaiah Bell of Pikeville, NC. One bonus grandson, Darien Wilson of Ville Platte, LA. Three sisters, Clara Jones of New Orleans, LA, Frankie (Larry) Moses, and Barbara Causey of Bogalusa, LA., Three brothers, Ado Causey Jr. and Zachary (Sabrania) Causey of Bogalusa, LA and Bruce Causey of Baton Rouge, LA. One sister in law, Shondra Causey of Bogalusa La, A long time friend Aline Causey and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters Melvin Dixon, Beatrice (Ernest) Lewis, one brother Louis Causey, one sister-in-law Valine Causey, three nieces, Lisa Moses, Torie Moses Smith and Anjler Morris, one Nephew Parnell Toliver and one Stepson Derrick Fland.
