Deacon Curtis Jefferson, Jr. was born July 31, 1949 to late Curtis Jeffeson, Sr. & Clara Jefferson Magee. Curtis attended washington parish high school of Franklinton, La. He was a native of Houston, Tx. later he relocated to Franklinton, La. where he united in holy matrimony to the loved of his life Gloria Taylor Jeffeson. To this union 4 daughters Senceria Jefferson & Aritha Jefferson of Houston, Tx., Arleshia Taylor of Zachary, La., Jerion Lindsey of Ethel, La. 2 sons Rev. Quintero (Tonya) Taylor, Sr. of Somter, S.C. & Trilon (Doneshia) Taylor, Sr. Curtis was a devoted Deacon at New Jerusaleum. He was a outstanding man in the world of God. Curtis was a well like person. He has touch many people's life by taking time to tell them about Jesus and the way to go. Curtis was also a board member for JPAP of Columbia, Ms. He leaves to cherish in memories his devoted wife and children Senceria, Aritha, Arleshia, Jerion, Quintero, Trilon, 20 grandchildren, 1 great-grand, 2 sisters Katie (Tim) Spell, Vinella (Jerry) Johnson, Sr., Mother-in-law R. Lee Mcclenton. He also leaves to cherish in his memory Margie Jefferson, Thelma Jefferson, Jerry Bickham, Effie Hatcher, Lucille Carter, Lonzio (Inellar) Magee, Willemia (Marvin) Williams, Layafette (Charlene) Magee, Louise LeFlore,Elbert (Linda) Magee, Joe Magee, Nealma Pritchard.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, friends. He was preceded by his parents Curtis Jeffeson, Sr. & Clara Jeffeson Magee. Stepfather Luke Magee. Ladean Graves, Georgia Bickham, J. Dee Jefferson, Q. Dee Jefferson, Alice Benson, Elnora Andrews, Betty Adkins, Virginia Richardson, Clarice Williams. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at Cook-Richmond 2-5p.m. Family Hour 6-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 21, 2012 at New Jerusaleum Baptist Church, 11 a.m. in Clifton, La. Rev. Johnny Causey, Officiating. Interment will be at Robinson cemetery in Varnado, La.
