Clarence Charles James, Jr., was born to the late Estella Bolton and Clarence Charles James, Sr., on August 19, 1937 in Columbia Mississippi. He passed away on December 3. 2014 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA.
Clarence moved to Louisiana at an early age. He was a builder, a sawmill worker, love to work on cars. He loved his family.
He is survived by his children: Kendall (Edna) Moses of Bogalusa, Ray Charles (Edna) Oatis of Columbia, MS, Mac Charles Oatis of Columbia, Michael Peters of Angie, LA, Michael Smith of Bogalusa, Jessie Smith of Angie, Catherine Moses of Bogalusa and Shelia Smith of Bogalusa. Sisters; Margaret Lewis of Columbia, Jewel Harvey and Hazel Johnson both of Detroit, Michigan, one brother, Hezzie Bolton of Hattiesburg, MS, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two special friends, Geraldine Moses and L. C. Youngblood, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Estella Bolton, father, Clarence Charles James, Sr., a brother, Julius Bolton, sisters Mary Batchlor and Mattie Abraham.
Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 followed by the funeral at 11:00. Rev. Jessie Moses, officiating. Interments in Moses Cemetery in Angie, LA.
