Charles Earl Varnado, Sr. was born on July 01, 1943 in Magnolia, Ms. to Rev. James E. Varnado and Alma L. Dillon.

He attended school at Eva Gordon in MS. He was a longtime member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church, where at a young age he song in the choir, went to bible study and Sunday School. As A Youngman he moved from Magnolia from Magnolia, MS. to Sacramento, CA. after Living in Sacramento for numerous of years.

He returned back to Magnolia, Ms. upon his return he met the love of his life Margaret Butler they were married on September 29, 1963 to this union two sons were born Charles E. Varnado Jr. and Christopher J. Varnado.

Later Charles moved his family to Detroit, Michigan there he was employed at Plumbing Supply Company where he was a truck driver for 25 years. After Charles started his own business "Varnado and Sons" home improvement company. He worked until his health failed.

Charles departed this earthly life on October 24, 2023 at Pams Wound Care Specialist. He was preceded in death by parents: Rev. James Varnado and Alma Dillon and one brother: Edward Varnado.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 60 years Margaret Bulter- Varnado; three sons: Charles E. Varnado Jr., Christopher(Latasha) J. Varnado and Kent Varnado. Daughters Latasha, Priscilla, and Kim. One sister: Sara Louise Watson Varnado; Five grandchildren: fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
