Obituary
Booker T. Hatcher, age 65, departed this life on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at his daughter's residence in Bogalusa.
He is survived by his children, Priscilla Hatcher, Madelyn Hatcher and Raven Roberts, all of Bogalusa, and Booker (Kamal) Roberts of Mandeville, his grandchildren, Dillon Magee, Devante Magee, Rodney Hatcher, Shaterica Johnson, Chris Johnson, Elisjah Hatcher, Kenneth Roberts, and Aaron Brown: his great-grand's, Daila Johnson, Matliah Johnson, Devante Magee, Jr., and Romaya Hatcher; four sisters, Lucille(Lewellyn) Nichols, Faye Parnell, Ella (Welleam) Foster and Mary May; a special sister-in-law, Ossilean Moses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie "Jack" and Savannah Hatcher; two brothers, Clemeal Hatcher and Oscar Lee Mopes and a sister, Margie L. Johnson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Cook-Richmond funeral Home from 2 to 6 pm, with family hour 6 to 7 pm/. The funeral service was held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Mary's Chapel UMC in Varnado at 11am, with Rev. Terrence August officiating. Interment in Robinson Cemetery.
