BOBBIE JEAN JOHNSON
Aka "Mama Lucy"
Bogalusa resident, Bobbie Jean Johnson, aka "Mama Lucy" was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2015 after a long battle with illness at the young age of 73. She was born in Prentiss, MS on September 10, 1941 to the late Grant and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by children: Ralph (Toni) Graves of New Brunswick, NJ, Perry (Vernica) Johnson of Shreveport, LA, Lisa Brunes, Valeria Graves, Vickie Johnson, and Paul Johnson of Bogalusa, LA, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one brother, Larry (Linda) Johnson, two sister, Mary Louise (George) Harvey of Sacramento, CA and Jessie R. Brown of Bogalusa, LA, one sister-in-law, Pearl Johnson of Bogalusa and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 2 – 7 pm, Family Hour 7 – 8 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 6, 2015, 2:00 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Stanley Nathaniel, officiating.
