Obituary

On Nov. 27, 1933, the late Lucille Jackson was united in holy matrimony to the late Theodore Garrett. To this union 6 children were born
3boys and 3girls. Beverly was the middle child of the 3 girls.Beverly Jean Garrett was born on Sept. 17 1944 in Folsom,LA.
Her spiritual life began when she gave her life to Christ at Midway Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A..At a early age she watched Lucille Garrett in the
kitchen, cooking and baking. At which, later on Beverly grew a love for cooking and baking after following her mother's footsteps in the kitchen, who later
would have a family of her own to cook for. She attended Washington Parish High School where she later received her diploma in May 1964.
September 13, 1964 Beverly Jean Garrett married Riley Wesley Jr. of New Orleans Parish.Which she later became Beverly Garrett Wesley to
that marriage 4 children were born:Riley Wesley III, the late Reginald Wesley(died of crib death young),Jacoby Trelon Wesley, Ryan Oneal Wesley.
In that time she resided in Monroe, LA where she raised her children for the most parts of their lifes. She was employed with Weil Cleaners for 15 years
in Monroe. Beverly was very involved in church activities and with the boys activities and their school functions. she loved to bake cakes and pies
everything was always made from scratch or from a family recipe. The marriage of Beverly and Riley Wesley Jr. came to departure after nearly 20 years. She focused on her life and raising her 3 children at that time.In 1985 she met the late Tommie Williams Jr ofMonroe, LA. She later was married to Tommie Williams, 1986 they were blessed with a baby girl LaDella DeShea Williams. After they were divorced of 3 years and then she relocated to St.Louis, MO where she raised her daughter. While residing in St.Louis she has had various jobs consisting of laundry-dry cleaners, school cafeteria cook/server, and provided her skills of sevice at nursing homes.
On Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7am at Scenic Nursing Home in Herculaneum, MO,. God saw her struggling with her health and whispered Job well
done my child it is your time and he called her home.
She leaves behind 2 sisters: Linda Magee (Bobby), Bertha Mae Pitts (Matthew) and 4 children; Riley WesleyIII (Wendy) ,Jacoby Wesley (Angela), Ryan Wesley (LavNottra), and 1 daughter LaDella Williams, 3 daughter-in-laws;10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and host of close family and friends. Beverly Jean Williams will be truly missed by many and we will meet again on the other side one day.
Visitation Friday, June 14 2-6pm
Family hour 6-8pm at Cook Richmond of Franklinton Funeral service Saturday, June 15 at Homeville Missionary Baptist Church 11a.m. In Folsom, la.
