Mrs. Barbara Joyce Smith was born December 7, 1939, to Mrs. Myrtle Pierce and Mr. Reggie Simmons.

Mrs. Barbara Smith departed this life on December 30, 2022 at the age of 83, peacefully with her family.

She attended Central Memorial High School, after high school she worked and retired from Canteen Corp.

Mrs. Barbara Smith leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 46 years, Rev. Richard L. Smith, her daughters: Stephanie Hayes and Jerri

McClure, her grandchildren, Robert Hayes, Brian Hayes, JJ and Janelle McClure, her great grandchildren Robert Haynes II, Darren Parks, Jafari Woodford, Jaylen Ford and Brianna Hayes, great great grandchildren Hayden Hayes and Alani Hayes, nieces and nephews; Kathy, Rrodric, Stephon, Renard Dillon and Stephanie Smith.  Special nephew Terry Richard and a son-in-law Joe McClure.

She was preceded in death by her brothers; Gerald Simmons and Rodney Lewis.
