ATTORNEY ARCHIE PERRY
Attorney Archie Perry was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana to the late Robert and Daisy Burrell Perry. He made his transition to be with the Lord on February 18, 2016 at 1:15pm.
He united and attended the Metropolitan Baptist Church at an early age until he finished High School. From high school, he left and attended Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA where he received his BA degree in Engineering in 1956. While at Southern University, he was a member of the ROTC and was Commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. He served in the Army for two years, and later received his Master's Degree in Education in 1963 from Southern University in Baton Rouge. From there he taught undergraduate courses at the University of Alabama, Huntsville for several years. Teaching did not excite his passion, therefore, he went back to school to become an Attorney in which he found his passion. He practiced his Law in New Orleans, LA beginning in 1981, Baton Rouge, LA and Bogalusa, LA until his demise.
He was a gifted and genius man in his own way. He was very adamant about his profession, had a beautiful smile and an extraordinary sense of humor.

His presence will be missed by one brother, Darnell Perry, Plano, TX, two sisters: Alvia P. Richmond, Bogalusa, LA and Ruthy P. Stull, Las Vegas, NV, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the chapel of Cook Richmond Funeral Home at 2:00pm.
