"I have fought a good fight, I have finish my course and now I"ll take my rest."

God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to remove from our mist one of His most beautiful flowers, mother of the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Deaconess Annie Lee Wilson Johnson.

Annie Wilson was born to the late Jim and Mary Wilson on May 10, 1927 in Sulligent, Alabama. She departed this life on July 05, 2016.

Annie Wilson united in marriage to the late Otis Johnson and to that union came four children: Charles, Vita, Aaron and Ketta. She and her husband came to Louisiana as young adults. Soon after becoming a resident of Bogalusa, she joined the Mount Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Edward D. Burns. Under that leadership she was chosen as a Deaconess.

Deaconess Johnson was a dedicated faithful servant of God. One who loved her church and her pastors. She served in her church faithfully for many years until illness invaded her life. Ministries she humbly served in were: the Choir, Pastor's Aide, Food Service, Janitorial Service, Deaconess Board, Vacation Bible School. Missionary Society and the Mother of the Church. She was also a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club of Bogalusa, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Wilson; her husband, Otis Johnson; son, Aaron Johnson; two sisters; Evelyn Walker and Rejetta Wilson; four brothers: Thomas, Aaron, Jessie and Joe Wilson; two sister in laws, Willie Mae Wilson and Rose Wilson.

Her precious memories will be cherished by her loving children: Ketta J. Harry (Levi), Charles Johnson (Jane) of Bogalusa, LA; Vita Manyluk of Sacramento, CA; a loving sister, Cora Kennedy; Grandchildren: Lori Holmes, Kendrick Johnson, Vita Malama, LaKenya Freeman, Monia Mark, Kenneth Oliver, Jr., Quincey Oliver, Adena Johnson, Alana Johnson, Jeffery Meekins, Paulette Coleman, Brenda Giggs, Lloyd Meekins and Darlene Clayton; Great Grandchildren: Christopher and Erica Holmes, Cole and Lynzie Clayton, Devion and Ladeus Freeman, Ashley Coleman and Peter Malama; Great Great Grandchildren: Joshua Renard Holmes and Styler Harley and a host of other relatives and friends,
